The Paramatman is an infinite source of light, without beginning or end. Everything originates from the Paramatman and ultimately merges back into it. Everything belongs to the Paramatman.
This avatar, which houses the soul within this body-mind-intellect complex, urges the soul to realize that you are not limited to this body-mind-intellect but are infinite. Rise from ignorance and destroy the illusion of Maya. This world is an illusion, meaning it appears different from its true reality.
Know this truth: You are Brahman, the Paramatman. You are the creator of this Maya. Realize your true nature. Once you know your true self, it will become clear as pure water that all problems and sorrows in this illusory world are trivial and insignificant.
No karmas can bind you. Neither sin nor virtue can bind you. You are complete within yourself and have chosen this body-mind-intellect to experience your creation.
Similarly, you have taken countless forms to experience your creation. Therefore, do not fear anything because it would mean fearing your own creation.
Being complete, you are content and desireless. Everything is under your control, so do not limit yourself. Joy, sorrow, anger, hatred, and suffering are meaningless because everywhere, only you exist. Witness everything happening inside and outside this avatar without any judgements, and do not let them dominate you.
Desirelessness is the path to break free from the endless cycle of birth and death.
This body, called the avatar, is like an advanced automated vehicle with a predetermined destination. If the vehicle takes a long route due to insufficient knowledge, the owner reaches the destination late. Hence, to reach on time, a wise person must take control when the automated vehicle strays from the path. Similarly, oh soul, this body is your vehicle. This body-mind-intellect, called the avatar, is not the reality. It is a mortal tool you use to navigate the illusion of Maya. Whenever this avatar strays from the path you have chosen or deviates from the path of liberation, you must take control of this avatar.
Oh soul, express yourself freely and enjoy your own play!
Oh soul, please realize that everything seen in the waking and dreaming state of this avatar is merely an illusion of Maya. Therefore, empower the eyes and mind of this avatar to see everyone with respect and reverence, seeing the Paramatman, that is, yourself, everywhere, thus providing a vision of unity.
Oh soul, please bless this avatar to understand that everyone is performing the karmas instructed by the Paramatman, that is, you. Although others may seem like the doers of karmas, the truth is that they are merely mediums of those karmas. Therefore, the avatar should not be saddened by others’ karmas. Instead, the avatar should forgive in forgivable situations and fight against unforgivable injustice, as it is the avatar’s duty. The fight should be against unjust karmas, not the individuals. The avatar should remember that it too is merely a medium of karmas, not the doer.
Oh soul, please do not let any circumstances affect you because everything that has happened in the past, is happening in the present, and will happen in the future – all is your own play and creation.
There should be no desire for liberation and continue to perform relentless karmas.
When inner peace remains unshaken amidst all events inside and outside the body, mind, and intellect, the path to liberation becomes easier.
Oh soul, please bless the mind to remain calm in all circumstances. If others’ behavior and words disturb the mind’s peace, it means the control of peace is handed over to others instead of the mind itself.
Make the mind aware that the control and responsibility of peace should not be given to others; the mind itself should be the controller of peace.
Keeping the mind calm is not impotence; karmas should be performed with a calm mind, make the mind aware of this.
A calm mind helps the soul reach its destination faster, while a restless mind keeps creating various obstacles in the path of liberation.
Oh soul, please free the mind from the thirst for people’s admiration, wealth, and the joy of offspring.
The thirst for people’s admiration is the attraction to praise, respect, love, honor, and attention from others.
The thirst for wealth is the intense desire for acquiring wealth or the greed for riches.
The thirst for the joy of offspring is the intense desire for happiness through children.
Oh soul, you are the deity for this avatar, and it worships you through its karmas. This avatar is bound to you, but you are not bound to it. Bless this avatar to surrender completely to the Paramatman, which is you.
Oh soul, please save this body, mind, and intellect from the pleasure of senses, anger, greed, attachment, ego, laziness, fear, and jealousy.
Oh soul, please bless this body, mind, and intellect to set goals and achieve them. Please bless it with concentration and the best memory. Enable it to successfully fulfill all roles. Bless it to perform karmas without expectations.
